Meridian Power Systems Inc. holds a permit to practice Engineering and provides complete electrical engineering services such as system upgrades, system design and modernization, power system studies, grounding studies, installation and start-up. Our business philosophy is based on building long-term relationships with customers and key suppliers. We have two operating divisions.

Meridian Power Systems Inc. Power Systems Services Division specializes in the electrical testing of power generation, distribution and utilization equipment. Our major activities included project commissioning, testing, technical and start-up assistance, maintenance inspections and testing of high, medium and low voltage electrical equipment, including but not limited to protective relay verification, ground verification tests, transformer, switchgear, cables, protection, rotating machine and insulation evaluation and motor control evaluation and inspection.

We are fully equipped with all required test equipment; including 3 phase test systems with the required software and satellite links for end to end testing of complex protection systems, switchgear and transformer test instruments, the Doble^® M4000 insulation analyzer and type C resonator for testing large rotating apparatus and all required safety equipment such as safety grounds, phasing sticks, voltage detectors, and ARC flash protection that are required to perform these tasks at the highest level of safety possible.

Meridian Power Systems Inc. Custom Control Products Division specializes in the assembly and manufacture of engineered products such as generator synchronization panels, relay protection panels, automation and mimic panels, PLC cabinets, marshalling cabinets, RTU and SCADA panels, drive packages and more. Custom Control Products also provides complete breaker and switchgear overhaul and repair. We have bus-bending capabilities up 8 X ¾ inches copper.  We will work to your engineered drawings and specifications or can provide in house engineering and drafting services relating to the manufacture of the above mix of products.
